On September 20, 2025, Frizz Fest proudly celebrates its 8th year, welcoming nearly 10,000 attendees! This free, family-friendly festival continues to uplift and empower the Black community through beauty, culture, entrepreneurship, and creative expression.

ENTERTAINMENT
A nonstop showcase of local talent! From DJs and live music to dancers, hair shows, and fashion showcases, the festival stage is where creativity takes center stage.
ART GARDEN
A vibrant space where visual artists bring murals and installations to life. Introduced last year, this creative zone adds color and culture to the festival experience.
YOUTH ZONE
A playful, hands-on space for kids to unleash their creativity! Think arts & crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, and jewelry making—fun for all ages!

Women of color are the primary demographic focus of Frizz Fest. In addition, all people from all walks of life are welcome at the event; we believe true happiness begins with loving yourself unconditionally and everyone deserves it.
We are invested in the well-being of our community, therefore we have created an environment where everyone is free to be themselves, express their uniqueness, celebrate their natural beauty, and indulge in self-love.
In addition, we provide economic opportunity for small businesses, creative outlets for artists, and a source of inspiration for the community.
